    Ehipassiko! "Come and See"

Well, last weekend was... erm, "NICE", where i found myself in a camp held by the imu buddhist society.

At 1st glance, the participants were around like 25 ppl... a far far far far cry from any camp (or SMK classes) ive been to. I thought that itll be boring. Immediately after the 1st few sessions, things started to look different.

On the 1st nite, we had a simple meal, and then some ice breaking games. The games were simple... but the most important thing is that everyone participated in well, and that really got things started. Theres only a few of us who are total newbies, namely me, ren yi, mar jie, lee wun...and also, ching shen! hahaa.. We stick together most of the time, but we still mix around n get to know almost everyone in the camp. That nite, we had the evening puja, meaning the evening chants n prayers... which was sumthing ive never done in a very long time. I did have problem with kneeling n sitting, but the serene n peaceful sensation felt great. The 1st day ended rather quick, and then we sleeeppp...

On the 2nd day, we had abit of aerobic stretch, and some self defence technique taught by guest-martial artist. The techniques were really neat, but i think it really takes a quick hand to really get it done. After that, we have some dharma talks by Dr Chan and Dr Phang, mainly on what is buddhism, and also the 5 precepts. We are then divided into 4 small groups, with mine being "metta", as in "loving-kindness". We also had a really fun time playing in the field under the hot sun with station games, especially when u have team mates like jun yan, ming yi, lee wun, and kai aun. We also practice to recite contemplations before and after each of our meals... The evening continued with a very nicely done sound sketch ( a drama-audio ), and then ended with meditation. It was really funny during meditation, especially when half of everyone falling asleep and snoored loudly as the speakers goes on "relax urself... feel the love and kindness... ure relaxed" "snoooorrrreeeee"

On the last day, we had some tai chi in the morning, followed by some intense leadership and motivational talks by guest speaker. It then was the new committee to step up and take lead of the society, as the old ones step down. They say that i think alot... too much i guess, so they give me a seat in the dharma sharing... Before u know it, it was time to say goodbye....

WELL, yes, now u look at it, it seems short. But i think the reason it was successful (to a few of us) because we actually get to know many good ppl here. Everyone was into the activities, and everyone was all so helpful. My team eventually emerge as a champion, and i really give it all to them for being such nice play-mates. ... Theres ntg too bad bout this camp (for the 1st time ive ntg bad to say)... and i believe ive found some answers to questions that i have held in me for a long time.
Ill miss the few short days... but i think it helped me prepared to face the long days ahead..

DUN BELIEVE ME??? well... ehipassiko, come n see for urself. tataa...

    Blog-Baharu-Billie

YO! this is another... yet another retarded post by me... its been sumtime since ive posted anything, but i guess theres nothing to be apologetic for, since i write as i please! :)

Theres 2 things thats really interesting that happened in the past week... firstly theres my trip to johore BAHARU... and also regarding bout BILLIE jeans..

WELL, the trip to JB was nice, in a sense. My "primary objective" is to complete my COP at a place called the Kiwanis Down Syndrome Center. The "Not-so-primary objective" is to explore around JB and get a sense of the place.. I stayed at wan yi's place from sun to tues, n had gotten the opportunity to know her family and doggy- esther, in these few days. They really seem like a nice small family of four, and seems okay from the obvious perspectives... unlike my family of six, haha.. The preperation for COP was finished on monday itself, where we packed small goody bags and plan on how we conduct our visit to the center. On tuesday, after a short drive through some highways n lowways, we reached the center. Only 5 DS child there, but it was a fruitful observation and learning trip. We gave them some goodie bags, and then split the remaining goodies among ourselves... As for the exploration part...well, JB is big, with highways freeways and more highways connecting one place to another. Due to the limited time, i only had a drive around JB... (note-their beach sux!! haha). I manage to take a walk at the local pasar malam and also the Bukit Intan Mall before i head back to Bkt Jalil on tues evening. Although i din get to do much... but i can say that its basically what JB has to offer. I do feel a lil let down because theres nothing much to do in JB... but the time was well spent, and (thank yiii for letting me stay in ur place.. sry for any trouble...^^)

The next two days back in IMU (here) is also a non-stop marathon. It starts with me fixing a Note-Hanger (under patent!). Its made by using a 3X3ft metal net with some strings hanging from edges of the net. These strings works like a cloth hanger, where i can preety much hang my notes up next time. The NH is now hanged infront of my study table... Next, o also take time to clean the hse abit, especially my room... becoz its too messy!... I also added some plastic covers to my cabinet as a means to protect my items from the outside dust! (preety neat!).... After the cleaning n fixing around, i also had to went back to imu to register for the chinese flute class's august venue bookings... Its still my 1st time to book a venue, but after a lil trouble, i manage to get it done thanks to guidance from seniors and also help from Ms Jacinta from SAD.

Then... heres something interesting about billie jeans... the song from MJ. As u guys would know, MJ's death is a world tragedy, but it spells the perfect opportunity to sell records , both legal copies and pirate copies! Pasar malams everywhere is fulled with pirates who are now experts on MJ's song, and ready to sell you anything that you would like to have to "pay tribute" to the dead pop star. The interesting thing was, on Thurs nite, while i was having supper in the OUG pasar malam... billie jeans started to play, not far away. The bass beats are really some of the most catchy tunes out there... and besides getting me wanting to dance on my feet; it also got the roaches to start coming out from their underground slumber!!!

ROACHES ROACHES everywhere!!... that was people's reaction (although its mainly from me) when the bilie-jean-roaches phenomena started to happen. I can see roaches on the payment, on the corridor, in the drain, FROM the drain, under my feet, and also crawling into a basket of freshly cleaned clothes in a nearby laundry shop!!! OUCH!!!

Oh well... the best explanation is that the bass beats create micro-earth quakes in the happy homes of the roaches, forcing them to scram from their homes like no tomorow. I doubt they are fans of MJ... but who knows? music is a magical tool to communicate... across culture indeed.. and mebbe across species!!..

So there you have it... the "cream" of my week after exam. Hope you enjoy the long-meaningless essay... see ya!
    June 16

    White noise.

its ard 242am in the morning. im in my living room in C134 here, attempting to finish yet another week for PBL learning issues.

i realise that my mind is one thats very restless. whenever i try to settle down and do something... a distraction always pops up. i decided to call them - white noise.

like it or not, these white noise represent the suppressed part of my everyday psyche. i realised that i really do think alot, either its acedemically relevent issues, socially relevent issues... or even, IRrelavent issues, u name it. it does not really become a real annoyance, yet, and its actually quite interesting to look them from a third person's view, and to take a closer look at what are new jaa ming's concern.

well, do not expect me to post out a mind's worth of white noise onto this small-tanggy space of mine here. Still, its not impossible to summarize my thoughts into a few sentence. So , in simple terms, ... i mind what people say bout me. i do mind what people expects of me. i mind what people do to help me get through the tough days. . . so its all down to people people people, haha. With that being said, i think its safe to say that im still a perfectly normal guy. with the normal worries. with the normal needs.

but i think ill need to be less warry of "peoples", n thats for the best for things to come. YES, they do matter... but to only a certain extend.

till the end, its my world, its my life... its my down fall. its my triumph.

    so ends the white noise.

    June 01

    Right Now

Time flies by... really fast. Although light-speed can never be the accurate term, .... its still the best term to describe all the going-ons around me.

Without really counting my days (like how i used to).... 3 more weeks its all theres left before i finish one semester in IMU. Its been a ride around many things, and unfortunately, i still yet to see the end of the ride. . .

Nowadays, my time is mainly spent back on my hermit-shack on the 13th floor. Sleep-study-anime-movies-eat-music, has become a familiar cycle that ive slowly adapted to. Its nothing really happening (compared to SAM)... but its not too bad either. Its a good way to really take a step back and smell the roses, in a sense.

In between this post and the post before, life has been kind, it seems. A party... a few outings... and hang around with some friends, old and new ones. I can never see myself to belong in any particular circle though... but im not too misplaced either... The people around me are still quite friendly, and i do appreciate it. In my search for the New World... im starting to think that the new world is not a destination, but a freaking process itself. (yaa, very philo-stupid-sopical)  So, life goes on... and ill learn with it.

Lately i also learned to take refuge in music, from guitaring to enjoying timeless pieces of dead (but famous) composers. It is at this pace of a living that i have, that really takes me into the music... A new perspective, i must say, is what ive gained for music. Though i can never be more guilty than never to complete my piano lessons, but still, it is from this gap between me and the great pieces, where my admiration of the high and unreachable, sprungs.

Im trying my best to beat myself at this game.... trying to play the optimistic one. I have no idea how the outcome will be... but its better then sit and die with the process. A step forward, i shall... one step forward, two cheeks up.

Mid Sem Break... Back to my roots..

Hiya... its another blog post from me, sry for the wait...

Well, its been (again) some time since ive posted anything... simply because im just lazy , thats all.

In the time between then n now... life has been okay. What took place recently was the much awaited mid sem break... a time for me to return to my home n take a good rest... away from the life outside my family n close friends. Back to kuatan.

After my experiance here, i seem to cheerish my family n friends more now (even though i really dun get along with them all the time)... even their nagging now seems to be fun, haha. My return home marks the mid of the sem 1 of imu's medicine course... Its the 1st time i go back home without a need to rush back to imu. The pace of things slowed down alot in that one week... ... what follows is just boring - sit around the hse... do ntg... crap with dad, argue with mum, fight with sis, bully brother... n yum cha with anyone ard... hahaa... but it was fun living back the old-familiar pace.

The highlight of the week, is again... once again, the trip to lembing...This time the "party" was rather small, but still it was noisy enuf (we have han shyan ma!). We actually set out late (my fault)... n after dodging bull n bullshit, we arrive at lembing by 5am... n head up straight to the top. This time, the hike wasn't that bad... but the view was dissapointing... the sunrise was nt nice, coz theres too many clouds n fog along the way. After the hike, we just did the usual in lembing - break fast - drive ard... But the other fun part was still the pandan waterfall. It was a fun time playing water like kids n retards, n we were lucky to get shots of "rainbow" from the waterfall (good sun angle)... All n all, it was a good day, ntg too , but ntg bad either.

Two days after that, i returned back to IMU as i need to start to get into the gear of studying... YEAP, thats no more play time for me in IMU now... Its back to serious... but it does not mean that ill stop all activities... it just only means that im going to study n play HARD ...

Seems to be good times ahead, hahaha... so ill hang on tight. NIte
    April 14

414... its been almost two mths...

Well!! this is another post, for another day, for another new range of topics... from no other than....me.

Ive forgotten how long has it been since the day im here in imu, and i don't bother to count it out either ( HATE MATH ). Yet still, i can say that its been an up n down two mths since then. For any of u whos reading my blog, ,... ya, theres up theres down.... but for now i can tell the whole world... "its okay!"

Eventhough its been a known trait in me.. (virgos), ive never really come to full yunderstand it, and how it do things to oneself. For those of you who are wondering... im talking bout "pessimism". The word itself is self-explanatory, and i do recognise it's existance in me. However, this time i think ill need to really step up to it. I dont blame it for the downs... but i do blame it for "delaying" the ups... It took me awhile to realise that theres so many things going on around me... many good things, and ive failed to notice it, haha! Ill need to really learn, n take effort, to change this side of me, coz i think its a real "counter-productive" thing to have. So now... ill definately move on... take one step forward, and two cheeks up!.... (then u cannot see my eyes lor!)

Alrite.... heres some videos n some photos from around march to april. There are sum photos from the balcony of 134, some photos with the old dogs and cats from my school, and also a video from yesterday's (13/4) choir practice!... sry it took so long to upload it (coz i lazy ma!).

It was nice seeing TChwan, TSeong, and Sanjev again, after soooo long (1 yr on average) since the last time ive seen some of them. The reunion was short, but there was alot to talk bout. Ive also visited UM , n went to find XWei n CChing, n also rested awhile in the 1st campus reading area.... UM is freaking big!!! IMU is SSOOOOO Small.... aiihhh... all and all, it was really good to see them again.

The choir in imu is going on well.. just that attendence can be an issue some time. Still!, this video proves that the spirit is still on, as long as u got ur parts rite on!... it was not the perfect practice, but everyone gave their effort, and they've accomplished this in one hr ! thats freaking amazing! theres certainly lots to learn about, and i bliv ill get to enjoy myself here...

    thats all folks... tata

    The "Ocean"

"In the name of exploration, i set myself on a journey that will take me to literally, half way across the world. "
"In the name of endeurance, i shall brave against the harsh waters of reality that is said to be coming at you from every corner. "
"In the name of humanity, i must reach that end, and come back with the promises of land and gold from the new world. "

These was basically the idealistic thoughts that was in the mind of the crew before they sat sail. The men can recall the days where the crew
sailed acrossed the narrows straits of  malacca , where the waters are fierce, but the docks are friendly. Theres also more than one
place that the crew can sit down , have a good meal, and call home. The trade was always fair and good with every encounter along the way,
and along with it came many opportunities that leads to great treasures and exploratioin.

The straits were also a place where many ships come and go, and many chosed to travel in a large organized group and brave against
the harsh water of the straits. This ship is always there to take the lead or tail in such groups, and despite the few unfortunate attempts,
the crew manage to handle the situation and steer clear away from devilish storms and spared the trident of neptune. The crew is known to be
resourceful and dependable, and always be ready to lend a hand in any way they can. Those were the days when the flag of the ship
was held high and pride can be seen from every shipmate on board.

Recently, the crew has set their eyes on the grand prize of exploration, and with the experiance from the straits, they think they are ready...
Little did they know what is ahead of them in this brave attempt... and hence, they set sail. Sailed away from their familiar docks and trade routes,
sailed away from their trusted partners and supply stations.... sailed away, into the unknown.

    - aiihh -

For the past few suns and moons, the crew has started their journey against the odds, traversing through dark n deep waters , and also into
the vastness of the sea around them. It did not took them long to realise that they can't find a dock to resupply and rejuvanate. The winds and the
tide has also seemed to change, and many a times, the crew found themselves lost in the middle of no where. There are also other band of ships travelling
along the routes towards the destination, but the crew has so far failed to find its place among them, and hence lost count of its original route.
The crew with their foolish altruism, also tried to took part in the affairs of the sea wayfarers, in attempt to be resourceful , also to form to alliances with better
assurance against the harsh ocean. However, in different waters and a change in the wind.... the crew found themselves to be useless. Attempts to be
resourceful turned into disaster and chaos. Mistakes after mistakes are being made... and are not suppose to made, just showed up. It did not took too long
before the ship's hull starts to fall apart from the wear and tear of the new ocean, with leaks and structural defects starts to show up in every corner of the ship.
Slowly, the crew is starting to wear out... the flag of the ships are now full of holes from pirate attacks, and the pride and glory of the crew has also gone with the
change of the wind in this uncharted waters.

The days where the crew was welcomed in the bars and inns were long gone, The long nights where the crew enjoyed fine ales and quality time with familiar faces and partners were long gone. The days where they can cheer and fight along side with their trusted comrades and skilled militants , is seriously, long gone.

Now, this ship still continues to travel along the route, and continue to find new alliances and new places to call, home. Despite the recent set backs, there was still a number of good encounters along the way. They werent what one would expect from the straits, but for the least, they had provided shelter against storms with
a hot meal and some coffee for the lethargic crew. The crew , tired and malnurish, will still stand and look forward. Things, werent so bad after all. However, they realised that if they still focus on their skills and manueverability of the past,... they can never steer clear of the greater dangers of this vast ocean. They will have to start anew... afresh, ... "de novo", once more. They will do their best to find new docks, new alliances... and new skills of the trade if they were to survive.

"Am in the middle of an "ocean"... ships come ships past... sun up sun set... there is no island to land on, to land to settle on, and no place to call home. This is terrible... this is misery. "

"but we will continue the fight. continue the will. cheerish the past.... and look to the new frontier."

    They will persevere.
    We will persevere.
    I will persevere...

In this place thats known as "The Ocean"

IMU orientation = Welcome to IMU~

Well, its been a real long time since ive blogged. Its been two weeks, since the day ive started my time here , in imu, as a sem 1 med student.

For the 1st two weeks, the juniors have to go through the infamous boot camp , the imu orientation. It was only a few days before i entered imu that i heard the imu orientation is famous among the private universities in malaysia. Seniors will drill the juniors to do shit n crap along the way, while the word "tired n exhaustion" , "sick n fever" is nothing but a norm in the orientation... and the word "fun" being at the end of the two weeks. Being the sceptical one, i can only say "wait n see"... n in the end, i really got a taste of the university's "gruesome" practice.

Since going through the whole description for orientation in chronological order is a waste of time, ill just jump to the few main hits of the 2 weeks.

Im sure everyone would say that the orientation movie videos are well made... n i personally gave an amen to that . The orientation videos are some of the earliest parts of the orientation that we get. The whole act and directing carried out by the orientation committee is really well done. I also like the fact that they paid attention to many details, from the army uniforms, the face paints, choice for settings, and also the subbing of the movie, made the orientation clips more enjoyable.

Besides the movies, the station games, like treasure hunt n telematch, were carried out smoothly. Eventhough im not a fan or running laps, dipping ur shirt into a disgusting bucket of smelly solution n wear it for the whole morning, eggs smashhing in ur pocket, group cheering in every statiion,... n also being the mother hen that needs to keep the chics going , (breath), its all still an enjoyable event.

Dress Codes 1 & 2, as well as variety nite, are also some of the best events for the whole orientation. It involves alot of acting drama n stage performances (not really my forte), and also alot of guts to do stuff that might be close to the word "obscene"... "Quality Control", or simply, Q.C., is also an interesting thing to have for the variety nite, where we get to demand a lame act, a lame song , or obscenities, to be "QC-ed" ....n perhaps, stoped from going on n ruining the nite . Groups that performed any lame acts will immediately be surrounded by the Q-C team and chopped "lame, crap, reject" all over their faces, and also be given cardboard signs like "lame, boring, go to Mon***h la, to be hung on them. With so much action n Q-C going on the whole time... we all really had alot of fun enjoying each other's performances.. and crap.

Besides the main events, i also get to know alor of new faces from all walks in IMU. It was a really fun event.

For this orientation, i volunteered to be a group leader, in hope to be exposed to more experiance, n eventually benefit from it. I must say... i really hit a new bottom this time, because its one of those times where i find myself making one mistakes after another. Its... really shitty, to the extend of unbelievable. However, thanks to the OOs, aka orientation officers, and active groups members , one being our very own IMSS, the whole group manage to generate some momentum n accomplished the task given for the orientation, in time n... in abit of coconuts. Of course, i really got what i asked for, which is "experiance". Im not sure whether or not that ive manage to learn from my mistakes... but i must say, that i manage to find new rooms for improvement n new targets to hit.... and it was fun, in the end.

After all this flashback... i find myself now sitting in star*ucks coffee, using their internet, with a cup of nearly finished orange juice, typing line after line of crap on the web, for the past... 1 hr. Unbelievably, orientation has ended, competition becomes friendship, misunderstandings becomes mutual trust, strangers become friends, seniors meets juniors.... and i now... am, an imu medical student. (wtf)

    Welcome,

    to IMU.

    The Math of Altruism

Well, its Happy CNY again.. n probably a little different than the other 19th times that i can vaguely recall.

We used to go from hse to hse, collecting ang paos all the way, seeing the same people that u'd probably will also be seeing in class for the rest of the year... well, that was how CNY was suppose to be, like a ritual of collecting ang paos.

This year, it became a little different. This time around, we still did the same thing.... but ang pao was the least of the concern list. Its hard to get to see everyone together nowadays. We are all studying in other places outside our hometown, and CNY would be the only time where we can get to gather people. This year, the happiest thing in CNY is seeing my friends, whether sick or fit, back in ktn n sharing the short time that we have. Its also the only time where everyone came home, n my family get to have all our small n big quarrels, only in CNY. CNY, has become a real meaningful holiday...

Today's posting, is however, not mainly about CNY. Its about... MATH-shit-MATH.

    im sure we know 1+1=2
    n also 0-1=-1 , and -1+1=0

... this system of logic always seems fair on paper. However, i feel that its not meant to be the ultimate logic that is used to describe the world.
despite -1+1=0 is the means of to even the score, has anyone ever considered the posibility of 0 +1=2?

I always believe in altruism. I bliv its an act that can end conflicts, bring peace n balance in this world. I believe in free lunches, free medical care, free favours, THAT helps the other person to be independent n perhaps return the favour to everyone else one day. As only a person that is living in his 19+, i have no idea how practical this can be, Despite free lunches, not everyone appreciates it. Despite free medical care, not every case can be solved. Despite free favours, not every intention is being responded with kindness. Despite an act of kindness n concern, not every action is being understand in the way the giver hoped.

This holiday, was a time for me to review my code of conduct, that revolves around this morality. Should i still believe in altruism? should i be always hoping that the other side appreciates my stand?.... i have no idea.

    HOWEVER,
i know that i would rather die knowing tat ive benifit others without asking much in return.
i know that i would rather die knowing tat ive think for others, without asking them to think much for me.
i know that i would rather die knowing tat ive always gived, rather than always expect to receive.
    ...

mebbe i can R.I.P. now, if thats the case, hahahahha...

Still... its a VERY NAIVE ideology. An ideal close to stupidity... an ideal that makes me the best target to rip off... the best target to pick on...
Should i still continue down being altruistic? or should i be counting favours n money more often?...

I hope that ill never learn that hard-lesson that will change my mind on this. Altruism is sumthing that i bliv, that i must persue. Still, i need to be more alert, and more strength n sight in myself to avoid pitfalls...

It will be a road for the bold... but ill get tru it. "stick it to the end"...n die a happy man.

    Happie New Year... Happie NewJaaMing?

Well folks (whoever), here's another possible boring blog post , amongst many of other blogs out there with much engaging material , rather than.. my life.

Its the 1st post for the year, which is being made in the time where most of my family members are sound asleep, hehe. Within the past time,"which covers roughly from the last time ive made a post here until now", a few events... very significant events took place. First of all, it would be my enrolment to IMU, where the news got to me in the best of possible times, 1-1-09, and of course... i was thrilled. Second of all, it would be the grand sale... not the ones in the malls and stores, but the lively crowd that appears infront of taylor's 1st week of school. Last but not least, the great hunt - the hunt for the place to stay in vista, which proves to be a real headache.

IMU, or rather , International Medical University, is that blue-grey-whitish building thats located near bukit jalil. Its located strategically next to the sri petaling lrt station, with a nice student population , compricing many doctor pharmacist nutricienist biotechnician biomedical scientist n nurses, wanna bees. From here, ill "embark" on a 2.5 years of pre-clinical training in my MBBS, before i move on to another country to study... To be frank, im very thrilled and grateful for my enrolment, and i have all my thanks to my parents, family n friends, my lecturers, ... and perhaps the buddhas n bodhis out there that gave me the occasional streak of luck in much needed times. I know im going to have a tough life as a doctor later on... but im sure, i will not regret taking on this path. I should leave the details till the day i complete my orientation in IMU, which begins at Feb 23.

Then theres also the "SAM books for sale" event, where i made a few handsome bucks with abit of persuasion here n there... im sure some of those juniors will hate me... probably remember me for that, after a few rip offs ive made. However, i bliv that in some way, im doing them a favour, for i bliv that this is the cheapest lesson that one can get. The world is indeed, big , round, obese.. with tonnes of swindlers and con-man walking around. Its mindful to be alert once in a while... Plus, its only around rm50 (if u add them up)... but yaa, it was quite bad of me, hehe... so please forgive me... and study hard so that u can catch my sorry ass in IMU next year... i promise to buy you lunch for that, hahah!

Now , my only problems lies in finding an apartment in IMU. Well, luckily, ive found a nice place to hang out with my buddies, but the problem is that its abit too expensive... aiihh. Well, i still bliv that it can be sorted out sooner or later, and then.. ill have to start to set in the furnitures and appliances for my "home" for the next 2.5 years in IMU. ...

THats all i guess, that i feel like blurting out. Itll be a month n a few extra days, before i start my class in IMU. Till then, i shall focus hard on two things... MONEY n MUSIC... its a good thing to learn about coz its relevent to ya , in a certain level. Okay peeps..

    December 23

Oh YA! ... i had this blog

Wow... ever since the onset of the SAM trials... all the way to the finals... and also all the way to the moment i caught up in joy upon getting my result... my little useless blog is being shamefully neglected by its owner, ha!

... That does not mean that this neglection will continue into infinty, as many has done with theirs, and its "rightful n only owner" - silly me, has decided that to continue to blog aimlessly bout things that has no value or no effect on the real living world .

Of course, just by using common sense, many things did happen (life does not just sit there u know!). From the busy times which had us SAM students to confine ourselves to small quarters flipping through pages of utter "shit" that we will probably won't use in our lives, to the painfull hour when we are waiting for our results.. a few events happen, to me, and ill just list them out chronologically :

    1) Trials
    2) The Mc Donalds Talk ( Me, Kw, Jh, My)
    3) The week before "it"
    4) The plannings for after "it"
    5) "it" - SAM finals
    6) Genting Trip - rediscover the inner you.. the part that gets bored of rides but terrified of space shots
    7) SAM corroboree - Everlasting memories and a pinch of craziness (u know what i mean)
    8) The big good bye to most of our SAM friends after that...
    9) The visit of the 3 stooges (鸟, Gay某, L) - K antan Trip
    10) The morning of revelations
    11) Explore Banting
    12) Getting results... and another reunion

... Dang, time flies by. Actually, i am , a man of emotions... just that past lessons thought me to hide them, but still actions betray me , more often than i can take account of... it feels empty now....

Now, im back again in my hse, and like the year 2007... passed through a major exam, with the results in hand. Last year i know i sucked... n this year, i dun. For now, i shall look forward for the next stage of life. Life in SAM is indeed very fast paced,... a very 充实one, i may say.  Ill probably add an entry sooner or later. So, just take this entry as a "re-enty" from me, the irresponsible blogger, as i warm up for next post. ...

I apologize if i did now even upload one photo onto any of my web thinggys... its just too stupid, as how i think, to keep uploading photos 5 by 5 at a time, when u have hundreds to go...

If theres any photo shoot, be sure to request them from me, specifically... haha... im an asshole. nitez.

    The 7evens

Well, as promised earlier, here i am, going bout the initial 7s of the TUCMC choir...the "ensemble". Well, if thats what u wanted to call us.

It all started when i was planning to come to taylors... by then , i already knew ruey yi(alto) and roy(tenor/composer/boss), and was desperately looking for a place to stay and needed some "locals" to act as my guide. Roy, was here much earlier, and so i met up with him n had a lil chitter-chatter... during that time, it was the beginning of the year, and he was looking for some people to start a small choir group.

By the next time we meet, our yum cha gang enlarged to 4 ppl, me , roy, and two others, which is nicole(soprano) and ruey yi. The four of us then further the discusion on the formation of the "choir"... and we agreed to it, which marked the pre-lude of the beginning of the choir. That time, due to our small numbers, we only needed a lil room , and a keyboard, to start things with. So, roy's hse became the place where we started our practices~!

In the beginning, as we were all former choir singers, theres is no question to our purpose to practice choir but for the joy n interest of it. As for me, though its been awhile since i last did anything with choir... i was happy to sing again. As the practice continued, nicole and roy brought a friend each, to join our small group. Roy brought william, a tenor/bass/whatever from sarawak to join us, whereas nicole brought iee lee - - although not a choir singer to begin with, but joined anyway with the sheer interest of it. So... our little group is completed, with roy with his composing , william as tenor, nicole as soprano, ruey yi and iee lee as altos, and poor me... as the bass(no skill no range no nothing).

Our practices were alot and sometimes as numerous as 4 out of the 5 schooling days. However, we enjoyed it because this time, it was not for any competition or any performance... but for just the fun of it. We proceeded fast enough, and within .. err... 1 mth?-we finished a song - Terlalu Istimewa. As we were starting a new song, we are already trying to recruit new members. In fact, others came to see us practice... but they just went away... until the time we have Scott. Scott, was a friend, of a friend of mine. He have a grade 7 in piano, and a very good and deep range in bass. His arrival marked the relieve of my limitations, where it was a blocking stone in the group. With him... i now introduce you all to , the first 7s, which we like to call it.

From left : Iee Lee, Ruey Yi, Chong Ai, William Nee, Scott, Roy, and Chubby-ME

From left : Iee Lee , Ruey Yi, Chong Ai, William, Scott, Roy, and Me

Besides singing, we also do other things togather, like "exploring" KLCC, shopping, dinner, and also celebrating CNY. From the picture, u can see that we brough loads of food from each of our home towns, and pile them up together and- - eat them (of course). It was a fun moment, especially at the beginning of the year because we are all "fresh" out of secondary school (except will n roy), and found a small comfort zone in a place as unpredictable as SS15. We enjoyed each other's company and for the first semester, it was great~

Looking back, time flies by very fast, and the 7 of us can no longer bring back the initial "fun times". William will now be persuing Law in the UK, and roy is on holiday. Although with me taking over (with poor management), the reality of our purpose in college(to study study study) seemed to caught up with us and all the exams seemed to pulled us down. Everything seemed to slow down and for now... the choir is hibernating due to everyone's examinations and holidays.

Actually, the choir is still here in taylors, alive n jerking (not kickin) once in a blue moon. Together with fractions of the original 7, the choir has recruitted many talents seeking a place to express it. Although not a big group, i can still say that im happy to see the choir growing out of just the 7 of us. For that... ill be "blogging" about it when i manage to get a better group photo when we restart everything again in october~

So thats all for this entry... and i leave your thoughts to yourselve now, bye~

    Math... Mathanamine

Reminds me of Mr Tharam's Cheat Sheet... officially legal in SAM, yeah!Despite my pledge to have postings for the taylors' choir.... i simply cant do that, yet, coz i still have not receive our family photo, the 1st 7evens of the choir.

To fill things up, i shall now start to crap about my recent mathanamine te-"opps", i mean math test.

For this CT3, its statistic thats up on stage to play the devil's role. Unfortunately(Although Much Anticipated For), i only scored a 53%... sad, because its at the verge
of a D... thankfully, it did not sunk that far below, and i still can manage to get it fixed~ yeah..

Although i dun suck at maths... i hate it. i have no idea why, although it used to be one of my best in PMR (long long long time ago)

So now... back to reality... theres nothing much left for me, but to continue to climb up the math score-ladder... until i reached the "A-level"... in "SAM".

The End of July... Beginning of August

Well, so far my 2 week push has finally ended, but nothing as how id expected it to be. Ill be highlighting about the choir for a start to this blog entry.

Sad to say, the choir's performance started out with our singers going off tune all the way. We sounded more like we are chanting than singing, in rhythms.
However, we manage to end the 1st song in a key lower, in tune, but we have to pity scott for having to put up with a lower key. The 2nd song, however, went smooth as
a ship on a windy day, and im preety sure that everyone was satisfied with the choir after that. Although it was not perfect, but still, it was a performance
    to be remembered about.

Overall, the music charity concert was not an all hailed success, and there is much room for improvement. Due to unnamed circumstances, the commitee did all they could to save the day but did not make it, and we just have to go through this tough time. Personally, i dun enjoy hard-rocking bands, but the music night's performances by the more skillfull players like andrew and the string ensemble, and also the seafield brass band, was trully appreciated. I would also like to express my gratitude of my classmates who stayed all the while to see my performing on stage. Although not to the extend of "touched", im still very happy for their support. For now, i dun think the choir will be receiving any more business, but our activities will continue , in the name of interest and in our appreciation of our small group of singers.

Theres another thing id like to highlight about, which is my recent biology exam. Although it was still an A, i expect myself to perform much better than wud i got now. It was all due to simple mistakes and carelessness towards the uses of keywords. However, id think that, it proves that i need to brush up more, and work harder. I always tell myself that in order to be a gd doctor in the future, 100 marks in exam is not everything. The effort and the passion for it will determine my base to be a gd doctor, and i will continue my ladder up SAM. I hope that i can redeem myself in my trials n secure better results, for all of my subjects too.

Finally, to all my friends and my msn kaki"s", i like to tell u all that i wun be having internet in my room from now onwards, so i wun be able to chat online after 830 n such. Ill have to rely on TUC's web cafe for internet, and wun be frequently online. If theres anythihng that u need my attention, pls send n email to me, n i promise that ill reply , as soon as i see it pops up in my mail box.

So... thats the end for my current entry, and i think from this mth onwards, ill make a coverage on my life in taylors through my blog, as part of my evaluation towards my life here in SAM.

Look out for it, and take care! everyone!

    Lelouch of the Rebellion

This is actually a review - self opinion on one of the latest anime in the market today : Lelouch of the Rebellion.

A reason why i really like this work by sunrise is due to its dynamic plots, interesting settings (parallel to our world) and as well as the main hero villain - Lelouch Vi Britannia.

Of course, if i were to describe the world in this anime, it takes me more than just the will to write it out to complete it. I still have to be really awake for a longer time to think through. So there for, for more info, DO log onto the wikipedia n find its resources. Im preety sure they are more than reliable. With that away, ill begin my only focus from this anime in this blog entry - The main hero/villain lelouch vi britannia.

"I am Zero, the man who destroys worlds, and the man who creates them!"

That was the words uttered by him upon regaining his memory back, into a leader of an army and hopes of many. Lelouch, or rather, L, is born as a prince to a royal empire, which is britannia ( occupying from the UK and the whole upper half of the US continent ). However, his father, the king, did not even bring justice to those who had killed L's mother during a shoot out, and not even paid a visit to his blinded and crippled sister, made him denounced his title. Being made an exile to japan, he and his younger sister grew up there and made a new friend, Suzaku, S. Years later, Britannia broke its diplomatic relationships with japan, and occupy the whole country by force, and thus renaming it area 11. Under such circumstances, L swore that he will have his revenge on his father one day, and crush the britannia empire.

Years pass, and L studied as a student in a prestigious school for Britanian settlers. After the war , L sought refuge from a britanian family, who actually owns the school, and changed his name to avoid exposing his identity. L is also a talented student and strategist, making his way by defeating titan figures in the underworld chess players. Meanwhile, his friend, S, joined the britannian army, and served as a "traitor" to the japanese, a "honourary britannian". Despite the title, his kind (who changed their loyalty) was frequently despised and treated as low lifes.

In an accident, L received a power called geass that can control the minds of others by making eye contact with them, and started to realize his potential. He then starts to use both his geass and his strategist abilities to go against britannia. Being involved in conflicts, he manage to round up some japanese resistance forces, and made them into the Black Knights, his own army of freedom fighters.By concealing his identity with a figure named ZERO, Under the name of JUSTICE and equality, he manage to attract ppl from the area 11 (japan) and britannia to work for his cause. Thus this begins his strive to battle the Britannian empire, and his villain-like life style.

As a military man, he needs to ensure victory in all outcome. To achieve that, cruel tactics are being implemented, sumtimes involving his own men as bait or as sacrifices, in order to trick n completely devastate the enemy in further conflict. A memorable fight he had was where he had to obtain a few important knights from the already establish Japanese Liberation Front army. To ensure that they joined his cause, he actually killed the remaining members of the JLF higher ups, telling the surviving members that they died in an attack of bravery, and adding the surviving members into his own army. Theres also another incident where when he wage war against the britannian army in their HQ of japan,  He collapsed the supporting materials that holds the roads n links them in place, killing many soldiers... in a very nasty n sinister way.  Another example was also  where he used  his army to massacre  children who have geass, in fear that their powers might go too strong  (like him) and create more chaos.

As for S, he joined the britannian army and successfully demonstrating his skill time after time. Being acknowledge, he became a knight, piloting an advance mecha, the Lancelot, and made him as a top knight in Britannia who is not off Britannian descent. S however, in heart, still stays loyal to Japan, and seeks to change the britannians from the inside (with his influence) and hope to achieve a mutal compromise  between the two nations. So in this story, we have a side- L, who wanted to destroy  Britannia and recreate the whole world where peace and harmony awaits, no matter what the course. On the other hand, S, believes that changes can be made without wars n sacrifices (albeit himself being a military man), and seeks to change the world the passive way.

Two friends, two destiny , two ways that collides head on, and two possible endings of the story.

In the end, well.... its not yet the end yet, and the story is still on going. Ill be keeping an eye for this anime, and im sure i wun be dissapointed no matter wud the outcome is.

    The Eventful Week

Today is once again, the 6th day of the week, saturday, but its not going to be as easy going as before. It is now half way through the 2 week push, and so far its not too bad.

Choir is running smoothly, thankfully. IDS's 1st review was done n passed with minimum to no problem at all. Studies still lack alot, and it sucks doing nothing at all during math period... but the others are still good. Then there was no guitar "classes" this week, though kwong win seemed to be practicing hard n making progress. Besides these small parts, this week was an eventful week... both gd and bad, and of course, im going to tell whoever who is reading this blog about it.

For the bad one... One of my friends just got "robbed" last monday nite. Apparently , two guys who claimed to be fake-ATM card makers , lost their recent "stock", and wanted to make sure that my fren is not having theirs. Unfortunately, my friend took their words for real, n handed over his ATM card, n the pin no with it, to check the authenticity of the card. Of course, his card is the real stuff, and he was then let loose from the "gentlemans", but his money from the ATM went missing. Well, it is an unfortunate event, and its also a careless one. I hope that whoever who is staying is SS15 would be careful for this sort of fraud.

For the better ones, This week is Matthias' birthday. Since me n kw sharing the gifts with another few, the two of us went to buy presents for him... at the OUG pasar malam. Seeing that he is in the boy scouts... oh, i mean , boy's brigade, we bought him a binoculars as a means for him to "look out". I hope he enjoys the little gadget we got him, coz its not really cheap, to start with.

So that sums up preety much of the highlights this week.

Ill be adding an entry on Lelouch of the Rebellion, because its an awsome show. Those who are interested , pls look forward to it.... tata
    July 14

    The pushing begins....

Today i woke up rather early again, to prepare for my class debate, and also to prepare for today's choir practice. I almost forgot to download my favourite show, since its once again, Monday.

Time flies by at an incredible speed after last-week posting here. And, its getting even faster.

Due to my list of works to do, i plan to just "shed light" on what im expecting, or rather,  "expected of me", for the 2 week to come.

First, theres choir, where its "reelection" went through and new works starts to run again. 2 weeks from now the choir will be having its performance, for both the college's music club and also the anime society. For that, Full Metal Alchemist's Brother, and LOTR's May it Be, and perhaps, Utada Hikaru's Dual Version Hikari, will be presented. If roy can accompany us again, we were also thinking of tanah pusaka...

Then, theres school, where later today i have my class debate on home schooling. Then there biology practical 03 that has its significance in internal assessment. Theres also a barrage of physics that is the IDS and also the unsuspecting presentation for my "the end of the universe theories". We also have other subjects going on... and had me left out at the forefront of its schedule. So.... for the next two weeks, ill need to ENSURE myself that im ahead of things.

Then third.. theres guitaring, where 2 of my friends now are learning guitaring from me. As an enthusiast, i have ntg but enthusiasm to teach it, and for the next two weeks, a desire to see what they can do with the knowledge ive imparted. I hope to see good results, as after all... its not hard, but fun.

Then now i better continue my work, and make sure that my 2 week's push makes its mark. . . . . .

This is the life of SAM students, i believe. And i hope that it makes me a better student for uni life, and perhaps also, a better doctor in the future.

    July 07

    Snneeezzeee!!!

What a sick weekend, ...literally sick, with fever of course, and not with any other possible sick possibilities. For the past 3 days ive been trying to log into the net trying to access this blog, but its hard with the bad internet connection... However in the name of "keeping a good habit", the blog stays n the crap that comes with it goes on... so i find myself here blabbing something for something of nothing.

The time while im typing this part now is 5:05 am.. pretty early for me usually, but its all normal because today lelouch of the rebellion R2 episode 13 comes out!! yeah... so now im waiting for the fansubs group to release it. Ive been chasing the code geass series from S1 till the current S2 and its sure a good entertainment , for its main character is.. a villain hero~... Its something close to the Death Note character Raito Yagami, but CG's LeLouch does not use notebooks... but armies and mechas to crush n eliminate his foes... hahahhaha... Spoiler has it that the current episode 13 will be a tragedy and a sad episode... so i hope to see it soon!

So, the main crap for the day  is the source of my fever... lets move back in time now... shall we??

My Saturday morning starts with  me doing laundry.  Then i went to jog... around 6 rounds  around  pangsapuri.  The weather was not hot, but i sure did sweat  alot though. Then, when that all was over... it was around 11pm. My sister called up and told me that ill be leaving for petaling street around 1-2pm, so i MUST NOT fall asleep (coz its harder to wake up from it). So... i waited for my sister to come as i quickly flipped through pages of D-Gray man from the net, and i think while waiting... i begun to felt very tired . While the time when my 2nd sis comes to take me to petaling street, it was already 145pm (i think), and im already suffering from slight fatigue. When we got to P.S., the weather was hot... and the smokers, alot. The main reason for me to go to P.S. was to find a bag... but that has to be left aside because by 3pm, we had to feed ourselves, and we make our way through the crowd (despite the weather) and sat down for wanton mee~... After that, i wondered around until i finally settled down for a nike (fake) bag, and started to follow my sisters around. That was around 4pm. Around that time, we went to popular bookstore, some FAKE jewelery store and also a pet shop... However,  as we are experts in window shopping, we went back empty handed besides the food  and the beg that we spent on.  We arrived back in  SJ around 6pm , and when my 2nd sis went back to puchong,  she dropped me off at 7 eleven... So thats the main part .... Then, the fever started after my dinner at the vege restaurant.  The time after that was a mess. I had migrains and while i manage to finish D-Gray man, i felt feverish but nothing as bad as when i tried to sleep. I took a few pills, took chinese cough mixture to make myself fall asleep.

The whole following Sunday was also a mess... besides doing the minor chores with a half sick body, the fever do not seem to go off with the normal paracetamols. Upon realization, i went for the Activefast that are available from 7E, and it started to subside since then.. around 4pm. After that, i practiced guitar (didnt sound nice) and continue to rest. My sister took me out for dinner at the porridge store and i slept at around 11pm...

So now im still recovering, but for the least, i can walk around n also walk to school. The time now is 552, and i manage to get my hands onto a fansub release. It will be sometime until the group im waiting for complete their work, for i believe that today's episode features a new intro n ending, n its taking them time to understand the lyrics n translate them n make adjustment to their timing, i believe. OKAY! thats all for today laa...

I plan to include my own review on Code Geass... so to whoever whos a fan n also reading this crappy blog, look forward to it then~ ..

    Resuscitation

Ahh... its been a freaking long time i din post anything here. This blog is just an empty space among many, but it still aches me to leave it like that. In my 1st semester, its "okkay" to leave it as it is for i am always bombarded with assignments,.. as well as getting myself adapted to the life outside the cage in pelindung.

Now.. its the 2nd sem.. the air is much clearer, though, there is much more to be done. To start with, theres the exams that are coming up... they will be the determining factors for my final internal assessment that will be used in the my total marks. Then theres also the fuel hike.... as a driver and a "eat-outside" person i feel the pinch... and as well as other stuffs... oohh, its never ending.

Of course, i shud not count whats coming ahead, wheather good or bad. So.. i just goin to list out wud i did for the past semester:

Came to taylors.... got into G2 (great-lame class).... learn to go to KL n back for both the fed-highway n the NPE highway... joined the Yellow hse n choir of taylors... learn a new guitar technique n took up pick-style (in training)... learn to navigate through areas of KL n SJ by car n by public transport.... scored just  nice-enuf for my midterm... made lots of new friends... took up exercising again n remain fit for a gd amount of time... went back to climb mount lembing in the middle of the night dodging cows and their dung n navigate tru the thick fog... and also attended the form six last gathering.

That of course... was the highlight of the highlights of my 1st sem. Life is just as it is up to this point, n its going on just as it is .

For now.. im going to put a picture here. it was took during the last gathering of my form six. These are my friends from form 1 - 3 who stick togather tru thick n thin. We might not be the popular ones im sure,... but we sure are an odd gang.. We are the infamous six... the pariahs.
